Rank Choice Voting

Rank the Vote (Ohio) is an organization that is pushing for ranked choice voting. I believe this is a progressive solution for our representative democracy currently. I hope to see something called “Liquid Democracy” achieved in the future.

Single Payer Healthcare

Single Payer Action Network is an organization within Ohio working to implement single payer healthcare within the State of Ohio. By creating a single payer network that ensures everyone is covered by medical insurance, we reduce costs in our healthcare system by proactively treating problems.

32 Hour Work Week and Fix Wages

I believe reducing down to a 4 day work week shifts the productivity gains from the past 50 years back to the worker; overtime after 32 hours. Due to working less hours in the week, we need to increase wages, so minimum wage would be raised to $15 an hour. Tip wage is abolished, and so is tipping throughout our state.

Free Beer For Voting

Show up to a primary, special, or general election and you get a free beer voucher if you’re an adult.

Ohio Transit Authority

The entire state is interconnected through a robust network allowing you travel anywhere in our state through an interconnected bus network. This transportation is provided free to everyone.

Ohio Space Agency

The State of Ohio builds and launches geostationary space station above Ohio. The Ohio Space Station is governed by the laws of Ohio. The Ohio State University develops an internship for 3 months of space residency to learn new manufacturing paradigms and perspectives from living in space.

Adulthood (Homes, Military, and Marriage)

If you buy a home, you should be able to drink a beer in your home. Gold House Hologram on your ID lets the bar know you’re an adult (and the fact your county lists your name on your property audit site).

If you serve in the military, you should be able to drink a beer in your home. Gold Gun hologram on your ID lets folks know you’re in the military without flashing your military ID.

You should be at least 18 to get married.

Domestic Abuse Registry

We need a list to make dating a lot easier.

Public Trust Abuse Registry

We need a list to make hiring and electing public servants a lot safer.

K16 Program

If you spend at least 8 years in Ohio public education, you get 4 additional years paid for by the state for public in-state institutions.

Universal Meals and Daycare

No child should ever be hungry. Schools are critical infrastructure which we can build upon. We can pay staff to attend to children in a daycare setting at schools with additional funding. We can ensure no child misses a breakfast, lunch, or dinner by serving healthy meals daily.

Sales Tax Transparency

Sales tax should be included in price tags. A lot of other countries have this figured out. Having to do math to decide “can I buy this item for $2.30 and this item for $2.50…” when you have $5 is extra unneeded toil. The taxes must be listed on the receipt, the display must have the accurate price after tax listed somewhere.

Pollination in Ditches

The State of Ohio already does this. The pilot demo study looks to be successful. We can scale things that work.

Weed Social Clubs

We have bars and cigar houses, why not cannabis social clubs? Right now, there is no where that you can legally create an “All You Can Smoke, All You Can Eat” buffet that charges per the hour. Society needs this.

Revoke the Alternative Vehicle Tax

I own an electric car. It’s great. Paying the extra fee each year is not great. I pay sales tax on electricity; so we take the sales tax from the electric charging stations and use that to fix roads, and revoke the regressive registration tax.

Solar / Heat Pumps / EVs Loans

By leveraging funding from the federal government for energy programs, we can deploy renewables and energy efficiency rapidly within our state with low-interest, federally backed loans, long-term loans. Assuming there is still funding available in 2025.

Automatic Tax Filing

Online system for businesses and people to file taxes a tool that helps calculate best outcomes for the user. Ohioans receive reports on how their money is used and how taxes were applied with return of checks.
